This federally mandated training provides DOT-regulated supervisors with a minimum of 120 minutes of instruction — 60 minutes on drug use and 60 minutes on alcohol misuse — as required under 49 CFR Part 382. Upon completion, supervisors will be equipped to identify physical, behavioral, and performance indicators of substance use, understand their legal obligations, and properly document and initiate reasonable suspicion testing. This course must be completed in full before proceeding to the final assessment.
